pyewackett
I am confused, I am currently managing Berwick in the Scottish First Division, I am enjoying the game at the moment. However I am thrown by this automatic ban for acumilating points for picking up cards, it'll probably best if I explain. Media email 1) Player name A has picked up an automatic 1 match ban for reaching 18 points disciplinary points limit. Media email 2) Player name B has picked up an automatic 3 match ban for reaching 18 points disciplinary points limit. Huh how come they don't have the same ban time such as both are banned for 3 matches or 1, not 1 for one and 3 for another. The player that has picked up the longer ban period, has picked this up before, is this why, the other player hasn't been banned before penalty is not as harsh? Just confused to be honest, as the media comments, don't mention violant conduct the seem to be for accumilating 6 yellow cards. It would be nice if any of you folks on here could shed some light. Thanking you all in advance.
ryan_sacfc
did player B get a red card to reach the 18 points? because if he had, it may have been one for violent conduct, which i think comes with a three match ban
canvey!!
It looks to me like it is the fact that Player B has already been banned, i.e. that 18 points triggers a ban, but the length of the ban increases each time an 18-point limit is breached. pyewackett
Cheers for the replies. Going from memory as I checked the players history nothing about being sent off, as there is no records for yellow cards/red cards allthough I am sure he's picked up a red card. That maybe why.
