Reactivating FM09

I had a few laptop problems and uninstalled the majority of programs.

My first issue was locating my fm09 cd which i eventually found in a dvd case nightmare.

i have no installed it back on to my system however when i lauch the game is says something regarding this is the multiplayer cd key copy it and paste it when the game starts up.

i have done that then i get soft anchor activation i paste there and it tells me the unlock key is already active.

how do i get around this problem?

i have only ever installed this game once from brand new. this is my second time(at least trying to anyway)

Edit* Apologies, instead of copying and pasting, i re-typed and it seems to have worked!

The problem seems to be that my product key on the back of the manual has "I" which if i type and an i works but somehow on the copy and paste from steam activation it is displayed as a "1" should i get anymore hassle from this? In the bottom corner of the game loaded up, it is saying steam requires a prodcut code bla bla, when prompted enter as shown below. The code it shows has the "1" rather than "I"
