Offering to pay part wages.

Could anybody tell me how (if it's possible) to offer a club to pay part wages in a transfer?

I know it can happen, as I have seen AI do it to me, but I want to do it for myself sometimes.

You can't force it

I think I wasn't clear, I'm the selling club and I want to offer it as part of a deal.

As far as I know you cannot do it. I'm pretty certain that you can't.

However the player may come to you and say that if you really want him to move then you have to pay him a chunk of money each week up until his contract would have expired for you. This is because he's getting offered a lower deal (or at least that's what he's telling you*). Usually the player doesn't want to leave so he wants recompense for leaving.

* The player doesn't always get offered lower wages! I was playing with my friend and he was selling me Fabregas (he hates him but chose Arsenal cos I was Spurs). Anyway Fabregas wanted a certain amount, about £115k. He was on about £105k at Arsenal. So I offered £125k to try and keep him in the long term. So he was getting paid about 20k more than at Arsenal. Went to my friend and said pay me £27k a week until the end of my contract (June 2010)!

My friend was annoyed when he found out about Fabregas' deception!

Thanks for that, at least I know now, though I think it could be added in future is a good thing to have.
