Can i scout a player for the position i want

Can anybody help me... I would like to know if it is possible to get a scout report on a player for the position you want him to play in. I know you can do this with coach reports on your own players now but I'd like to be able to do it for players I'm thinking about signing. For example If I need a backup players to cover AML,AMC and AMR it would obviously be possible to back up all of these players with one versatile player, the only problem is that you can only get a scouts opinion of how good the player is in his best position but because he's only a back up he may never get to play in his best position.

Can anyone help with a way around this???

Open "positions" on the players profile and it will give you a rating for that player in each position e.g. natural, unconvincing etc.

Thanks for quick response but what i'm trying to do is the same as with the coach reports for your own players but with players you are watching

I don't think you can do that, the scouts will assess players based ont heir ability in their natural position. I like the idea, though and it would make a good addition to the game

Yeah, although i'm not 100% sure that you can't do it already, but I can't remember ever having the option.
