Unfortunately another Steam question

I had a major system crash a while back and am now finally getting the system back up and running however when I installed steam I noticed that all my games had been removed from the 'My Games' list. However when I went to reinstall Football Manager it came up with the 'code already activated by an existing steam account'. I know that it's already activated to an existing account, my own, but the Steam I downloaded doesn't seem to recognise the fact I should have games against my account.

Using the link, I deactivated the two computers that the game was registered to but I still can't install. How can I tell Steam that I wish to reinstall the game?

Probably a stupid question and a bit insulting, but you are logged on to Steam aren't you?

Heh it's cool, that thought did come to me. I've logged in yeah. I actually spent about 20 minutes trying to remember my password.

Bumping after 20 minutes? It's almost midnight, only weirdo's are on at this time. You might have to wait until morning to get a good answer.

Have you tried getting help on the Steam forums? I think that would be your best best.

I've raised a question but got no reply. I was just wondering if any other users on here have had this issue.
