A small scouting suggestion.

As it is now the scouting areas are divided into regions - countries (plus the world option). What's needed is another group where the regions are joined together into continents. For example, I can't really be arsed to try and figure out which part of Africa is most likely to produce good players - it should be possible to set my scout to cover the whole of Africa instead.

Just send a number of scouts to Africa instead, then you can cover the different areas. Look at how big that continent is, I think it would be unrealistic for 1 scout to be able to report back on all appropriate players from this region

If he can scout the whole world at once, why couldn't he scout the whole of Africa? I don't want him to report back at once, he can just as well do the roaming thing over there.

I agree there should be user defined regions (of any set of countries in the world we want, perhaps a map so we can highlight them to make a region) that we can tell a scout to roam about in assuming you are allowed to scout the countries you chose. Obviously if you selected a lot of countries it would take quite a while but that is already in the game.

That isn't a specialised report though. That is sending him around the world, spending a few months in each continent and reporting back the best players he finds. Sending someone to a continent wouldn't take as long as a world report.

I don't quite understand what you're saying there. Scouting the world just sets them out at random, but they still scout one country or region at a time. What I'm suggesting here is the same system that instead of covering the whole world would limit their roaming space to a single continent. It's a lot of messing around to get all regions on a single continent in a queue and then you can't use roaming so it's kind of useless anyway. We should be able to scout continents using the roaming system. Or specified regions as suggested by Quackje.

you could have an option in the team settings for this, like the one to watch players on loan.
