razzor363
I holidayed and set them to play selected tactic and team... i only had 1 player in the team at that time and that was Elvis Hammond a striker. So, they decided it would be a brilliant idea to play him in goal and no one else. i think its funny i still managed 33% of possesion, and managed to injure one of their players Shot at 2009-02-16 Shot at 2009-02-16 Shot at 2009-02-16 http://files.filefront.com/Lincoln+v+Bournemouth+31+spkm/;13302439;/fileinfo.html here is the game itself!! DanGLiverpool
Would have thought they would have used greyed out players. That is hilarious.
Yonezzz
Christ above. I thought you got fake players when you only had one, though?
santy001
Lol, what a bug, I don't think the player can submit a team without 11 players, but holiday can be used to get past various obstacles and this is probably one of them. Get it in the bugs forum. One player scored an own goal and it doesn't look to be hammond, so that could prove to be something important in what happened there lol. ftg87
How is that even possible? Surely they wouldn't let the game start with only 1 player on the pitch

Stevicus
How on earth did you only end up with one player? Didint you have any one in the reserves? Surely you had a youth team at least?
Trux
Who took the Bmth kick off after the first goal?
Timmytom
Judging by the own goal scorer (well spotted!) it looks like the team gets "made up" of players called "player 1" Probably all having abilities around 1 for every attribute. This isnt true obviously, but hell, 31-0...that Scottish team that lost 36-0 must be doubly embarressed of themselves now. They actually fielded a team! Suge
That is the funniest screenshot I've ever seen. Here's a question though, why did you only have 1 player in your team?

sparkler17
The same thing happened to me once. For some reason the game let me get to the match screen without picking any players. I tried to go on holiday, in some crazy hope that the game would correct itself and pick a team for me, but alas no. I ended up with a similar scoreline. Sadly no screenies. I restarted my game as I was chasing a European place in he league, and a 30 odd hit to my goal difference would be unacceptable. Never mentioned it until now, but seeing as it has also happened to you, they might want to take a look at it in the ole bugs department.

x42bn6
Quite astonishing how he managed a pass completion of 41%. Heading in his own crosses... On FM2007, what would happen is that you would get a team of outrageously poor but invisible players. You would see invisible players pass to each other (before quickly losing the ball). As a result, you'd have the other team passing the ball around seamlessly as the invisible team can't get near them. So it's still possible for the other team to miss sitters as they may be under pressure by these invisible players, but more often than not they're pointless. Otherwise, you sometimes get deflections - which is the own goal, I guess.
Goodheart
Hahaha. That 3rd picture cracks me up something bad. How did he manage the pass completion... and how one arth did he get all of that posession? What about taking Kick-off just after Lincoln scored, surely that must've been hard? Impzie
I also have a question. How the hell did he get a corner?
Jack Rudd
I suppose taking 32 kick-offs will give you a fair share of the possession.
phnompenhandy
Absolutely nuts!!!! I suppose, strictly speaking, you can kick off with one player - the next player to touch the ball would have to be an opposing player - who ought to just roll it from the half-way line into the goal; Lincoln ought to have scored at least double!!
Jack Rudd
Well, if you kick it really hard from the kick-off, you might be able to score. Or, at least, get back to your goal in time to stop the first shot.
Sad Git
The journalist who wrote the report used the phrase "scored with a real poacher's effort" no less than four times. Sack him!

jayahr
The posession seems to be alright though... If getting the ball out of the net back to the kick-off counts as possession, repeat it 31 times and you'll get to around 33 percent
crouchie
how did lincoln manage to give away 8 throws?? and only score 31? hammond must be a class keeper!
