madmac111
In the build up to the 270th Milan derby, i got wondering. On FM if AC milan try to extend the stadium, do Inter have to agree to extend it aswell? Is the cost split?
SCIAG
No, because Inter don't play in the San Siro, they play in Giuseppe Meazza.
Insert_Goal_Here
No, because Inter don't play in the San Siro, they play in Giuseppe Meazza. Is that a recent thing?
madmac111
My bad but i always had the impression they did
9inarowhoops
Are you sure about that positive the two of them play at san siro
SCIAG
It's the same stadium IRL. However, in FM, Inter's version is named Giuseppe Meazza to avoid exactly this situation. I don't know what happens with the Muchen teams though.
cris182
they have different names for the stadium but it is the same ground
SCIAG
cris182- is that supporting or arguing with my point? I'm fairly certain they're set as different grounds in the database Anyway: why on earth would you want to expand the San Siro?
pnefc22
Maybe you are filling it and want to expand. SCIAG is right......again.
Crpls
I always edit the database and delete one of them and make them groundshare.
Insert_Goal_Here
I always edit the database and delete one of them and make them groundshare. SO your going back on your original statement
Hardy6
Lol, this thread is super funny, the "san siro" is called the guiseppe Maezza stadium. Guiseppe Maezza was a player who played for both Milan and Inter so they changed the name from Stadio San Siro (san siro been the area the stadium is in) to the Guiseppe Maezza. Stadio Guiseppe Maezza is more commonly used by inter with milan usually callin it the san siro.

We are talking about the game though, that in the database its listed as two different stadiums, i don't know because i haven't checked. Just listening to whats been said, you know whats super funny? JimbobWWFC
They play at the same stadium in real life of course. But the San Siro and Giuseppe Meazza are listed as different stadiums in the database, because Inter and AC fans use different names for the stadium. AC fans generally use the proper name, San Siro, but Inter fans like to call it Giuseppe Meazza in honour of the player that used to play for them in the 1930s (he also played for AC Milan after that, but is more famous for Inter)
magicratx
isn't there a couple of other teams that share as well, Lazio/Roma maybe? and Juve and Naopli? could be wrong on this tho
JimbobWWFC
isn't there a couple of other teams that share as well, Lazio/Roma maybe? and Juve and Naopli? could be wrong on this tho Yes Lazio & Roma, but I'm not sure about Juventus & Napoli. In Lazio & Roma's case, the stadium is the same on the database, just the same as it was between Crystal Palace and Wimbledon in the past. Unfortunately, despite this discussion, we are still no closer to getting an answer for the original question lol
Galactus
Why wouldn't SI just make them ground share? Realism SI, Realism?
JimbobWWFC
They normally do share, it is only to make it even more realistic, becuase the 2 sets of fans call the stadium by different names
magicratx
sorry think its Juve and Torino not Napoli

Unfortunately, despite this discussion, we are still no closer to getting an answer for the original question lol I was going to ask, I'm Lazio manager and I wanted to change the pitch dimensions. Never got the choice to anyway.
Insert_Goal_Here
Napoli would have to travel a fair distance to use Juventus stadium
