Player search not picking up on players...

When searching for contract status is expiring, it doesn't seem to be picking up all players :confused:

I have ensured the "Assistant recommendation" boxed isn't ticked...do I need better scouts ?

The player search has always been like this, not all the players are picked up on. I'm pretty sure this is intentional as well.

You need more knowledge, go to scouting to see how much national knowledge of each country you have.

Sending scouts abroad helps.

It depends on your knowledge. If you have a full knowledge of England then all the players in England will be on the search screen whilst if you had half of germany half the german players would be on the search screen. But even if you don't have a knowledge of lets France, some french players will still pop up on your search screen.

BTW you can find your knowledge by pressing on the scouting icon and pressing knowledge on the bar on the left hand side.

Player Search only picks up players that are near your club and the ones with bigger reputations. Knowledge also plays a part. The more your club has the more players are picked up by player search.
