Muddymatt
Hi I've just signed Riquelme but his work permit was turned down. I have sent him on loan to a feeder club for the season but does anyone know when he will get his work permit. Thanks
CaptainPlanet
Try offering a big contract now, I believe there's a bug in the game that means when he accepts the new contract he'll get a work permit. If not, if you click onto his profile page it'll say how many days he's been in the country and how many days left until he can get a second nationality and therefor a workpermit. Providing he accepts the nationality.
pedro007
If you have to wait for him to gain nationality it will take at least 2 years, wont he be a bit old then? I would keep offering him a new contract every month or so and as soon as he gets a permit and signs the contract, bring him back.
Officer Rex Bishop
The idea that RIQUELME wouldn't get a work permit is insane and points out that some tweaking needs to be done on the WP model.

Ozzy38
Did you not appeal? Surely he would've got it on appeal, unless he's too old to be as good when you signed him.
CaptainPlanet
He got refused a WP on my Man City game but wouldn't even let me sign him without one
