celtcolm1
I seem to remember in fm08 that if you had feeder clubs from other countries, then sometimes some of your youth intake in the summer would be from the nation those feeder countries were in... Did this happen, and does this happen in fm09?
Hoss_1873_Rfc
Yeah, I believe so, I am Queen of the South in 2021, and each year I get at least one chinese, american and brazilian player who's fave club is my feeder club, so it does have an effect. However, I randomly got a g from Guam? Where I have no scouting knowledge from, and have found he appears to be the first player in my game for them. yankee_ram
It's happend for me so far, I am in 2011 with Montrose and I get Belguim, German and American kids coming through my system. I dont have an American feeder club but my nationality is American so I think that plays a part in it as well.
CrashOverride
Your feeder clubs and also the nationality of your coaching staff can affect the nationallity of your regens iirc. I have mailnly english coaches but a few Argentine/Spanish coaches and players and occasionally will get regens from these countries. With clubs irl signing players based on managers nationallity its quite realistic imo
