As far as I know you can sing one player who has played in the UEFA Cup, IRL Real are moaning to UEFA becuase they cant register Diarra and Huntelaar as they both played in UEFA Cup for their old clubs. In FM, if a player has already play for a club in any euro competition, i don't think he will be allow to play for another team in euro competition till the next season. Flyman Posted February 10, 2009 Share Posted February 10, 2009 in season 10/11, during January transfer window, I bought Huntelaar from Chelski to my Fiorentina squad. The thing is that he played for The Blues even against me in the group stages of the Champions League. Then in February I was able to register him for the latter stages of the UCL...weird.
